Man, 44, Booked With Marijuana In Nimba

The Drugs Enforcement Agency (DEA) has arrested a 44-year old man, Augustine Dahn for being in possession of narcotic drugs.Dahn was booked with the Marijuana drugs at the Immigration check point in Ganta while on a commercial vehicle to Monrovia, DEA County Commander, Julius Kanubah disclosed.
The DEA Boss added that the suspect is presently placed behind bars undergoing investigation in the commercial city of Ganta.

He told this paper that the drugs contained 5 Kilo grams with street value of LD 37, 500, which is now in the possession of the State Security in the county.The Chief of DEA revealed further that suspect Dahn will be arraigned before the court for illegal possession of narcotic substances after the completion of the investigation.
The DEA early November 2015 arrested a Negerian drug dealer with cocaine at the Immigration check point in Ganta and sent the suspect to Sanniquellie with the cocaine for prosecution. The Negerian drug dealer whereabouts is still unknown since he was sent to the Sanniquellie Magisterial Court for trial.

The cocaine according to the DEA valued at more than US$ 10, 000, is still in limbo and the suspect is nowhere to be found.Early 2011 five large plantations of marijuana were destroyed by the Joint security in Gbe-Doru in Tappita, Lower Nimba County
