By Roland Mulbah

Liberian hero of the moment, William Jebor, who plies his trade in Spain with second division outfit; SD Ponferradina, who scored a hat trick to give Liberia’s Lone Star a 3-1 away victory against Guinea Bissau on October 13, 2015 in the 2018 World Cup preliminary where 14 years away record was broken, has scored five goals from five matches and not five goals from four matches as being stated in many quarters or on the social media.

He made his debut against Cape Verde on March 26, 2011 where the red, white and blue outfit was defeated 4-2 and later played against Togo, Tunisia and Guinea Bissau home and away.

He scored his first international goal against Togo where Liberia was defeated 2-1 and later scored against Guinea Bissau in a 1-1 draw in Monrovia before breaking the record against Guinea Bissau in the return leg where he scored a hat-trick becoming the only Liberian player to do so.
