Sierra Leone VP To Address CU Convocation Saturday

Hundreds of graduates will this Sunday walk through the walls of the Cuttington University in Suakoko, Bong County.

On Saturday, September 26, 2015, the Cuttington University will hold its 54th Commencement exercise on the main campus of the university in Bong County. The Vice President of Sierra Leone, Victor B. Foh, will serve as Keynote Speaker at the 54th Commencement Convocation of Cuttington.

Vice President Foh, who arrived in the country Tuesday evening upon the invitation of Vice President Joseph N. Boakai, on Wednesday held bilateral discussions on strengthening ties between Liberia and Sierra Leone as well as addressing issues affecting countries in the Mano River Basin.

Mano River Union member countries, Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone are emerging from a devastating Ebola crisis. The office of Veep Boakai disclosed that the Sierra Leonean Vice President and delegation will also hold discussions with the Sierra Leonean community.

Vice President Foh is also holding discussions with senior Liberian Government officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs and, Augustine Ngafuan.
