Liberia’s international versatile player, Dioh Williams was on target twice as he helped his team GefleIF to a 2-1 win overHelsingborg in the Swedish topflight.
The Liberian striker rattled the net in the 23rd and 38th minutes respectively to give his side a comfortable 2-0 lead in the first half.
Dioh was substituted in the 75th minute to make way for Swedish forward Jacob Hjelte as GefleIF collected the maximum three points.
The win takes Gefle IF to seven place on the 16 teams table with 32 points from 24 matches.
In Sweden also, another Liberian international, Sam Johnson played full 90 minutes for his Swedish topflight outfit, Djurgaarden, but his efforts were not enough as his side went down 2-0 at home to Malmoe FF.
The lost means Djurgaarden stays at sixth place with 40 points from 24 matches, while Malmo FF maintains fifth place with 44 points from 24 matches.
The technical staff of the senior national team of Liberia, Lone Star, headed by former international miracle man, James salinsaDebbah must invite Dioh Williams to the team for the two two-leg tie, home and away against Guinea Bissau on October 8 and 13, 2015 in the preliminary round of the 2018 world cup qualifier.
He will undoubtedly be a crucial addition since he is very experienced and has more goals and assists to his credit as far as playing for the national team is concerned.The last time he played for Liberia was in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Namibia in a 1-0 win against Namibia at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.
