Weah’s Son Signs For PSG

Timothy Weah, the son of former FIFA world player of the year and Africa football legend, Senator George MannehWeah is ready to step in his famous father’s boots in football after signing a lucrative deal with French football giant, Paris Saint German (PSG).

The 15 year old, who previously had trial with English Premiership side Chelsea, was accompanied by his father to sign the deal.

Weah, now 49, was named African Footballer of the Year in 1995 for the third time, after 1989 and 1994, while at Italian Serie A side AC Milan, a club he joined after crossing over from French Ligue 1 side PSG.

In the same year, he became the first African to be named the FIFA World Player of the Year as well as the European Footballer of the Year.
