Barely a week after Mr. Heme Dennis claimed his US$10,000 prize as the first winner of Cellcom’s Tic Tac Toe campaign, another lucky individual has come forward to claim another cash prize of US$10,000 won through the Tic Tac Toe promotion. The lucky winner, was Mr. MamaduFofana a 21 years old petite cold water sales person from the Jamaica Road area. In addition to these two winners, hundreds of other Cellcom subscribers have claimed thousands of dollars in prizes and airtime.
Presenting the prize to Mr. Fofana, the Chairman of Cellcom’s Board of Directors Mr. AviZaidenberg said he was delighted that a young Liberian had won the prize money. “I am very happy and proud that you as a young person was the lucky winner of this prize.
“I urge you to use this money wisely, as it can do many good things in your life,” Advised Zaidenberg. He admonished Mr. Fofana to use the money in a way that would have real impact in his life. “This is a new beginning for you. It is my hope that you will use it to invest in education, health or as seed money for a new business or to improve your current business.
Mr. Zaidenberg went on to encourage Mr. Fofana to remain an Ambassadors for Cellcom. Observed “There is no other company that has remained as dedicated to Liberia and Liberians as Cellcom has been. The skeptics always wonder if Cellcom will deliver on our promises and every time we show that when Cellcom says something, we do it. This is another example of us doing what we say we will.”
For his part, Mamadu Fofana thanked Cellcom for its level of commitment to customers. “I never before imagined that I would ever see this kind of money in my life,” said Fofana, “this is a true blessing for me.” Mr. Fofana revealed that he would invest the prize money in establishing a larger business.
At the conclusion of the press conference, Mr. Zaidenberg also encouraged Cellcom subscribers and the general public to come out and cheer the National team to victory in their first African Cup Qualifier match scheduled for September 5, 2015 at the ATS. Cellcom is the sole sponsor of the Liberia National Team and tickets for the game are now on sale at all of Cellcom’s Point of Sales locations at Total Service Stations across the country.
