What seems to be a pathetic situation was witnessed yesterday when a 13-year old girl was discovered dead in a suitcase.
According to our reporter who witnessed the scene, the situation occurred in the commercial district of Redlight near the main police depot.
Our reporter who quoted eye witness account narrated that the little girl only identified as Princess was discovered dead in the suitcase early yesterday morning. Report said further that the 13 year-old girl left her 72nd residence a day before she was discovered dead. Princess according to information did not return home a day before her untimely demise.
Family sources said little Princess was brought up and lived with her aunty, Patricia Montoe until she left the house and went missing and later found dead.
According to some eye witnesses, an unknown man was seen carrying a suitcase but later dropped it and escaped after he was intercepted by a police officer.
The eyewitnesses who were in tears for the death of little Princess said the killing of innocent people in the country is something that is becoming uncontrollable and that there is a need for government to deal with the situation expeditiously to avoid further recurrence.
At the same time, residents of Redlight and 72nd communities are calling for an immediate investigation into the killing of little Princess and want the Liberia National Police to pursue the man who was carrying the suitcase and later fled the scene.
