“I grew up in Gbarpolu County and graduated from high school in that county and as such I have an obligation to my people because they helped gave me education today and I should in return do something to appreciation their effort” Noah narrated.
Recently the Edrick F. Noah Foundation has over the week launched a scholarship form drive to over three hundred students under the banner “Gbarpolu University Student Union” which he said worth over one hundred thousand Liberians dollars.
Speaking to journalists, the Executive Director of the Foundation said that his decision to give the scholarship to the Gbarpolu’s student was based on the foundation goodwill gesture and as son of the County.
The Noah Foundation boss who is also former student activist in that county said his contribution to the students in the County will energize the students to follow suit in their education sojourn.
He said even though other politicians may see his goodwill as been politically motivated but said at present he does not have any political ambition but rather urged the citizens to see him as someone who has love for the people in Gbarpolu County.
He disclosed that there are plans by the Noah’s Foundation to embark on Agriculture and health related services including educational programs as primary priority in the County. The Noah Foundation Executive Director also disclosed that the organization will also extend its services in the Southern region.
The Foundation boss said that they will seriously embark on the agriculture program in the fifteen counties and no one should think that the foundation will only limit its function in Gbarpolu County.
The former student activist narrated that the foundation was interested in the enhancement of human resource empowerment and will go beyond the expectation of what people think about the institution.
He however commended the President Pro temp of the Liberian senate, the County legislative caucus and the County authority for the cooperation given during the students rally.
