Former Fire Service Director Dies

The former Director of the National Fire Service of Liberia, Moses GelearSayon, has died. He served the institution twice as its director.

According to family sources, he died July 11 and is expected to be buried the first Saturday in August. His body has been deposited at the St. Moses Funeral Parlous in Gardnersville.

Meanwhile, his body will be interred at the Brewerville Cemetery, following funeral services at the Sacred Heart Cathedral on Broad Street.

The deceased, who hailed from Butaw District, Sinoe County, was born in 1945 and attended many fire institutions in the United States and England.

He was the Fire and Safety training officer at the Maritime Training Institute in Marshall, Margibi County, up to his demise.
