Criminals Storm Monrovia College

Report says alleged criminals last week stormed the campus of the Monrovia College and made away with properties of the institution worth thousands of United States Dollars.     In an exclusive interview, the Acting President of the Monrovia College, Mr. Molley A. Dukuly alleged that last Friday morning, a group of criminals armed with raffle guns and machetes forcibly entered the campus of the school and took away US$1,000, L$42,000, a laptop computer, five cell phones and 250 coupons of gas slips.

According to him, when the gunmen entered the campus, they placed two security guards under gun point who were serving guard that night. It was also reported that while the two officers were under serious threat, some criminals went in the various offices and took away the items.

Mr. Dukuly narrated that after the criminals made away with the materials; the school administration reported the matter to the Liberia National Police. He said the incident is the first of its kind on the campus describing same as being inhumane and embarrassing.
