As the government of Liberia gears up its national rebuilding process following fourteen years of civil unrest, several international companies and investors have developed confidence in the business climate of Liberia, thus choosing to come to Liberia and join in its reconstruction drive. One of those international companies is the Kanu Equipment Ltd.
Kanu Equipment, last weekend was officially recognized and commended by a civil society watch-dog organization, the Society for the Promotion of Peace, National Reconciliation and Reunification (SPNRL), for coming to Liberia to join the government of Liberia and other companies in the national reconstruction process.
According to the organization, the presence of Kanu Equipment in Liberia will bring some relief to other companies operating in the country by enhancing their works in various sectors of rebuilding and general business, through the provision of heavy duty earthmoving and road construction equipment.
Receiving the award on behalf of the company, the General Manager Mr. Christian Kocik a German national thanked the organization for the recognition and said that Kanu Equipment Ltd is in Liberia to stay and contribute towards the rebuilding process of the country.
Kanu Equipment is a specialist in the supply of quality earth moving and road construction equipment, and is involved mainly in the sales, rental and maintenance of heavy duty earthmoving equipment here in the country, with its offices located in Congo Town.
