Beautician Wins NOVAFONE Scholarship

Madam Melissa Weah, a beautician and resident of the Brewervillie Community in Hotel Africa outside Monrovia has won a four-year scholarship to attend the Starz College of Technology.

Melissa surprisingly won the scholarship at a program on the Starz College Campus after recharging the NOVAPHONE US$11 dollars one month data package.

She operates a Beauty Salon at the intersection of Benson and Gurley streets in Monrovia.

Speaking at the raffle draw ceremony on Monday, NOVAPHNOE’s Vice President for Operations Abdullah Kamara congratulated madam Weah for being the lucky winner of the draw and urged her to encourage others to take advantage of the golden opportunity.

Mr. Kamara told her that the company was pleased to be associated with meaningful ventures to empower needy Liberians.

According to the NOVAPHNOE Vice President for Operations, Madam Weah will be offered a scholarship to sturdy Telecommunication Engineering, a four-BSC program at the institution.

In remarks, Melissa said she was surprised to be the first winner.

She was introduced to Novafone by her friend few weeks ago, she has promised to make sure all her customers and her friends use the network.

Melissa said she intends to transfer the scholarship to one of her relatives due to her busy schedule at her business center.

The PRO of Novafone Mr. ReindorfHaligah encouraged the public to take advantage of the opportunity and become one of the proud winners.
