Women Group Gives To Patients At TB Annex

An organization, “Women of Praise,” has identified with patients at the TB Annex in Congo Town, a suburb of Paynesville with assorted things.
The items include several disinfectants including cartons of powder soaps, toothpastes and washing soaps, one carton of sanitizers for purification of the hand and one carton of tooth-brushes, all valued at US$500.
Making the donation, the founder and President of the group, Sangay A. Megee, lauded health workers at the TB Annex for their continued commitment to serving the Liberian people and pled with all Liberians to render some meaningful supports to the Management of TB Annex most especially, during this time of Ebola crisis.
According to her, it is the tradition of the group to reach out to the less fortunate people in the society to offer some supports, praying that God grants them more in providing to enable them continue assisting people.
Receiving the items on behalf of the TB Annex, Nursing Director Martha Geian commended the “Women of Praise” for their kind gesture and appealed to other people of goodwill to emulate the example of the group.
The TB Annex in Congo Town is currently one of the only Tuberculosis Center which is hosting over hundreds of patients who are suspects and probably with others over hundreds said to be receiving weekly and monthly treatments.
