Boy With Cut Penis Needs US$5,000 For Surgery

The parents of little Philip Zinnah whose circumcision became accidental are appealing for assistance to help him seek further medical treatment in Madrid, Spain.   The child’s parents along with a local non-governmental organization Health Page Liberia Incorporated are in dire need of US$5,000 to airlift him for the treatment which is aimed at restoring the cap of his penis which was accidentally removed during his circumcision.

According to the father of little Philip, the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) has made available US$1,000 for the trip to Madrid but the family needs additional US$5,000 for air tickets and other things necessary for the trip.

The head of little Philip Zinnah’s penis was cut off during the circumcision process on January 5, 2013 and since then his parents have been working with the local NGO Health Page Liberia trying to bring him relief by carrying out a surgery that could restore the cap of his penis.

The father, PhilpZinnah, Sr. said his family does not have the means to foot the cost of the trip and as such they are appealing to humanitarians and philanthropists to come to their aid by providing them the US$5,000 for the trip to Madrid.

The father can be reached at 0886930404, 0776497152 or at Health Page Liberia Incorporated at 088653179 or 0777026357.
