Man Runs Away With Senatorial Candidate Money

By Lewis Verdier

An unidentified young man has made away with about three thousand Liberia Dollars given by one of Maryland Senatorial candidates in the upcoming Special Senatorial Election.

The three thousand given by the candidate was intended to appreciate community dwellers, partisans and supporters of the candidate who turned out to welcome him.

Maryland Senatorial candidate, J. Gbleh-bo Browne who is also former Superintendent of the County, Tuesday night after a brief conversation with his partisans distributed about three thousand Liberian Dollars to each of the groups present at the forum but unfortunately one of the groups’ money was taken away by an unknown man who also claimed to be the head of the group.

The unidentified man who received the money on behalf of the group was chased by the partisans and supporters but they could not find him.

However one of the members of the group, identified only as Thomas, told newsmen that they were going to the escapee’s home to get their share no matter what it takes.
