The Liberia National Police (LNP) has arrested the man who allegedly killed his girlfriend, Sonnie Tipayson, on November 28, and placed her body in a barrel in their home in Clara Town. The deceased was a graduate of the A.G. High School in Clara Town.
Following the incident, the alleged killer, Sylvester T. Davis went into hiding, something which prompted his hunt-down at all cost by the vigilant police network.
Breaking the news about the suspect’s arrest, Police spokesman, Sam Collins told journalists that after a massive man-hunt and tipoffs, the police was able to arrest the suspect in Grand Cape Mount County.
Meanwhile the suspect has admitted to killing his fiancée and is expected to be charged and forwarded to court for trial.
