“Members of the Press, Students and Citizens of Sinoe County, distinguish ladies and gentlemen.
“This press release is an official statement of the Sinoe University Student Union and a rejoinder of an ill-fated, purported and misguided statement from some charlatans, hard-headed and belly-driven individuals masquerading the media landscape as executives of SUSU, we read from the News Newspaper on November 17, 2014 accentuating among many other things the wrongful impeachment of SUSU’s President, Mr. Chea P. Dorjue. After reading painstakingly the News Newspaper, we noticed with total dismay and disdain that the action to impeach SUSU’s President was carried out comically by cunning and contrapuntal individuals who are currently under suspension for time indefinite.
“Members of the press, it is an irony. How can individuals who are suspended impeach a President? We want to strongly condemn and detest those counterproductive and outlandish individuals. We want to state for the record that Mr. Baccus Panton, Vice President, Mr. D. Emmanuel Sarpee, Secretary General, Alex S. Noah, Financial Secretary, KiseeJarwleh, member and Tola D.S. Sanwon, member, were suspended since November 8, 2014 in accordance with Article IX, sec. 1 and sec. 1.2 of SUSU Constitution and are no longer members of the Executive Committee of SUSU until otherwise.
“Moreover, we are convicted that it is foolhardy and completely outrageous that these suspended individuals will be so arrogant and desperate with greed and self interest and will go to the extend placing their reasoning and integrities under the carpet and took an illegal, unconstitutional and disjointed action to impeach a sitting President without even reading their Constitution.
“Members of the press, the Sinoe Student University Union would like to state emphatically that Mr. Chea P. Dorjue remains the LEGITIMATE President of SUSU and undoubtedly enjoys the confidence of vast majority of the executive members and student populace of SUSU.
Therefore, SUSU calls on those renegades and obdurate individuals to go and read their constitution properly with comprehension and also call on the press to disengage with those individuals who are shamelessly fraudulent impersonators as they are no longer members of SUSU.
“In furtherance, the executive members of SUSU have unanimously consented with immediate effect to appoint the following individuals to fill the vacant positions as a result of the suspension of those compromised and psychological imbalanced individuals. Mr. SaydeeZarthySaywea – Acting V. President, Mr. J. PenteeWlemus – Acting Secretary General, Mr. Nelson M. Daryon – Acting Financial Secretary, Mr. Christopher K.W. Bartee – Acting Chair, Planning and Project Committee.
“Meanwhile, the President, Mr. Chea P. Dorjue will be traveling to Sinoe on an official duty, hence Mr. Frederick Q. Teah, Chairperson; Education Committee will act as President of SUSU pending the President’s return to Monrovia.
“Finally, SUSU calls on all citizens and students of Sinoe to remain resolute, resilient and courageous as the county goes through her election. SUSU also calls on Sinoe University Students to be cognizant and independent not to use the Union as a conduit to favor any politician from Sinoe or Liberia in this election. Let us transcend all barriers and be united to place our county above circumstances that will tend to divide us. God bless SUSU
God bless Sinoe County and save the state”.
