One hundred and thirty United States Marines arrived in Liberia yesterday afternoon making them a total of three hundred plus in Liberia. Upon arrival, their temperatures were checked.
A team of reporters was led by U.S. Ambassador, Debora R. Malac to the 25- bed medical center that is being built in Margibi County by the U.S. Military.
The head of the medical center , Dr. Scott Giberson, who is the Acting Deputy Surgeon General of the United States of America said the medical center will be finished in a couple of days.
According to him, they will attend to only international and local health workers who will come in contact with the Ebola virus. He stressed that they are praying not to use the facility because health workers are needed to save lives.
At the same time, Major General Darryl Williams told reporters that the U.S. Military is bringing in great capabilities to fight the Ebola virus.
