In an effort to combat the deadly Ebola virus in the country, a prominent son of New Kru Town, Mr. Dixon Seboe, has demonstrated his commitment and donated several items to District 16 Taskforce to help fight the deadly Ebola virus.
The items included 15 bags of rice, three tins of oil and L$25,000 to the Management of the Redemption Hospital and also donated 25 bags of rice, three tins of oil and L$ 15,000.
Mr. Seboe disclosed that doctors, nurses and health workers assigned at the Redemption Hospital are committed in fighting the deadly Ebola virus and adhere to their duty at all times and predicated upon that, he has decided to identify with the Management of the hospital.
According to Mr. Seboe, Redemption Hospital serves thousands of Liberians who come from many places in Monrovia and its environs to get medical treatment, therefore incentives should be given to doctors, nurses and health workers there to encourage them on the job because healthcare is very essential.
Mr. Seboe has lauded doctors, nurses and health workers at the Redemption Hospital for the significant effort made in catering to the patients. He also urged District 16 Task Force to be serious and carry on massive awareness in the community because Ebola is indeed real.
The Medical Director of the Redemption Hospital, Dr. Mohammed Sankoh, lauded Mr. Dixon Seboe for the indelible contribution made to the Hospital. “Nothing we can call small donation and what you have done today has made us proud and happy,” Dr. Sankoh said.
“We appreciate you for the donation and it will be used for the indented purpose,” Dr. Sankoh stated.
Meanwhile the Coordinator of District #16 Task Force on Ebola; Mr. G. Baccus Karpeh, has congratulated Mr. Dixon Seboe for the timely donation made and that the donation will indeed be used for the intended purpose.
