Royal Friends Join Ebola Fight

Royal Friends Social Club, a charitable organization in the country has joined the fight against the deadly Ebola virus.

Royal Club yesterday donated several bags of rice and other assorted items to the National Task Force as its own way of identifying with victims of the deadly epidemic that has engulfed the country with at least thirteen counties of Liberia’s fifteen being affected by Ebola.

In a brief chat minutes following the donation, Mr. Rupert C. Hoff, Sr. President of Royal Friends Club said his organization is very concerned about the rapid spread of the Ebola virus and the numbers of lives it continues to claim across the country.

Mr. Hoff said Royal Friends Club is a social and charitable organization void of politics, and that the virus has become a national issue that must claim the attention of all Liberians and then reminded Liberians that Ebola is real and has the propensity to destroy the entire nation and damage the economy of the state.

The Royal Friends President added that predicated upon the rapid spread and the wave of death tolls as a result of the Ebola outbreak that all must get involved in the fight against the deadly pestilence to ensure that it is eradicated from the country.

He said Royal Friends Club has seen the need to also join the fight with its little resources to intensify the fight against the virus. Some of the items donated to the Ebola Task Force by the Royal Friends Club include, fifteen bags of rice and other assorted items.
