As Government strives to contain the spread of the deadly Ebola virus in the country at all cost, the senior Senator of Margibi County has donated some food, medicine and preventive Ebola buckets to the five districts in Margibi County.
Senator Jah said as Senator of the people of Margibi and the country, this is her own way of identifying with the people of Margibi.
The donation included four-hundred forty-four bags of rice, two thousand five hundred amounts of assorted drugs; six hundred and forty-three preventive Ebola buckets amongst others.
Senator Jah said the value of the materials cost over fifteen thousand United States dollars.
Meanwhile she said every district in Margibi County will receive twenty bags of rice, fifty preventive Ebola buckets and Drugs; also individual will receive some of the materials, she noted.
Mrs. Jah further said there are fourteen Health Centers in Margibi County that received the drugs.
She added that Health Centers that received drugs include; Marshall Health Center, Shielo Health Center in Duazon, Dolo’s Town, Gibi, Cutting and Peter’s Town amongst others.
She maintained that she is after giving HOPE, something she said Margibians should realize that there is God, while Ebola is still in the county and the country.
