NEC Begins Series of Meetings On October Senatorial Election

In the run-up to the October 14, 2014 Special Senatorial Election, the National Elections Commission (NEC) says it will begin a series of consultative meetings with key stakeholders in the Electoral Process.

In a release, the Commission invited several organizations to meet with the Commission in the James M. Fromayan Conference Hall at the NEC Headquarters on 9th Street, Sinkor, Monrovia.

According to NEC, on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 the Commission will meet with officials of all civil society organizations operating under the Elections Coordinating Committee (ECC) at 11:00 A.M; the Commission will also meet with officials of the Inter Religious Council on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.

The release under the signature of Mr. Joey T. Kennedy, Director of Communications and Outreach further pointed out that the Commission will on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, meet with chairpersons or secretary generals of all registered political parties and all aspirants whose names appeared on the provisional list of candidates Election.
