The General Manager of Accident and Casualty Insurance Company, Mr. Prince Miller has called on teachers in the country to be prepared before entering the classroom to teach.
Serving as Commencement Speaker at the 10th Thanksgiving and Closing Exercises of the Bishop J.L Dutton Foundation Elementary School in Barnesville, Mr. Miller called on teachers to teach the correct subjects in the classroom to enhance the learning capacity of the students as education is the key to success.
Mr. Miller said that the teaching profession is for those who are prepared because they have to impact knowledge that enables students to be well equipment academically and become future leaders.
“I see that some of those who are graduating today will be doctors, Politicians, Managers, Ministers, presidents, Vice Presidents and personnel therefore, they should be given quality education,” said Mr. Miller.
At the same time, Mr. Miller has urged the parents not to neglect their children but give them the maximum support to continue their education sojourn as they are the future leader of the country.
“The greatest thing you can give your children is education; therefore I encouraged all of you to support your children in school to enable them learn and become useful in the society and contribute to national development and growth,” Mr. Miller stated.
According to Miller, parents should always visit the schools and attend Parents Teachers Association (PTA) meetings to know as to whether their children are making progress in the school.
Mr. Miller has at the same time congratulated the administration of Bishop J.L.Dutton Foundation School for the major contribution making in educating the young Liberians.
The El-Shaddai School which incorporates Bishop J.L.Dutton Foundation School is an integral of El-Shaddai World Outreach International, aimed at providing a unique alternative for Christians School principles.
