Ebola Victim’s Sister Dies

The sister of the lady who recently died of the Ebola virus in the Borough of New Kru Town has also died at the ELWA Hospital outside Monrovia. According to some nurses and hospital officials who spoke to this paper, the lady came from Duala around the Borough of New Kru Town last Week Thursday to seek refuge at the ELWA Hospital in Paynesville, where she was pronounced dead days after Sunday morning.
One of the nurses whispered that a sister of the lady that died at the Redemption Hospital in New Kru Town was said to have travelled from neighboring Sierra Leone, where she encountered the deadly Ebola Virus and brought it to Liberia. Other information gathered says that five of the victims’ relatives are believed to be affected.
Meanwhile, the recent news has panicked residents and visitors in ELWA which is considered at least as one of the largest Communities in Paynesville outside Montserrado County. This now brings to two the case of the Ebola Victim in less than a week in Montserrado County. Yesterday, this Paper gathered that the nurse that died at the Redemption Hospital in the Borough of New Kru Town treated the sister of the recent lady that died at the ELWA Hospital in Paynesville.
When this Paper visited the Compounds of the ELWA Hospital in Paynesville, several persons were seen with their hands folded and looking dumbfounded, while others gathered in various groups discussing the news. “We were in strong state but Ebola has come to ELWA; this is serious and we need to pray about this,” the residents stated.
