Recently, the Liberia Material Limited, a company that was said to have leased a parcel of property from the National Port Authority of Liberia, NPA, but the NPA allegedly failed to go by that lease agreement and renegotiated a second lease with another person ( name withheld)allegedly booting it out.
Accordingly, the Liberia Material LTD took the NPA to court for failure to adhere to that previous agreement and booted them out and turned down theirs, something the Management of Liberia Material Limited believed was wrong and only intended to deny them of what they deserve.
However, according to the Assigned Circuit Judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Montserrado County, Judge Emery S. Paye; ordered the Clerk of the Civil Law Court of Montserrado County through a bill of information and its accompanying Documents, a writ of Summons directing to the Sherriff for Montserrado County, commanding him to summon the NPA before the Civil Law Court on the 4th of June 2014
But at Friday’s hearing, the Civil Law Court of Montserrado County fined the Respondent an amount of USD200, 00 to be paid in 72 hours. The Court’s order came as a result of the Respondents failure to appear in Court live, but was represented by its legal team headed by Cllr. Cooper Kruah of the Henry Law Firm.
