A new company aimed at creating awareness on Diabetes, Pervocate Incorporated has opened its doors in Monrovia.
Formed and incorporated in Liberia, Pervocate Incorporated was established by Liberian photo Journalist, Mr. James Momoh who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He once worked for the INQUIRER Newspaper in Monrovia prior to going to the United States some nine years ago.
Speaking at the opening ceremony held on King Sao Boso Street in Monrovia opposite the offices of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC), Pervocate Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Momoh said the purpose of setting up the company is to create awareness for people with diabetes on how they can be tested and subsequently manage the low or up level of their sugar content.
Mr. Momoh said modern equipment designed to test ones sugar content named “Perfect Three” is currently available at the company’s offices for US$50.00 while feasibility studies are being conducted so that it would enable the company market medicines that are designed to lower ones with sugar content.
He disclosed that his office is technologically equipped where those tested for diabetes and proven positive, data base can be established and kept.
The Pervocate Incorporated CEO is urging clinics and hospitals to contact his office and purchase some sets of the Perfect Three equipment. He noted that diabetes cannot be cured but it can be managed in a way that can prolong the victim’s life.
Mr. Momoh who introduced the Perfect Three machine some two months ago in Liberia is also an Adjunct Faculty at the African Center for Strategic Studies in Washington DC.
