Legendary Artist, Social Justice Activist, Women’s and Children’s Advocate, Madam Miatta Fahnbulleh, has declared her intention to contest for Montserrado County senatorial seat in the October 14, 2014 Special Senatorial Election.
Madam Fahnbulleh, who has declared her intention for this year, said she will go as an independent candidate.
“If we love our country and want to see it to rise with dignity and integrity, then men and women of principles, sincerity and honesty must come forward and fight for the mantle of leadership,” Madam Fahnbulled admonished citizens.
She added that the market women, yanna boys, unemployed young men and women, taxi and bus drivers who are residing in West point, Clara Town, Vai Town, Logan Town, New Kru Town, Soniwein and other poverty-stricken communities deserve better living.
According to Madam Fahnbulleh, she is a patriotic Liberian woman who has a big dream and a solid vision of empowerment for the nation’s masses.
“If I’m elected as senator of Montserrado County, I will work to implement policies that will not only empower the citizens of the nation’s capital but also guarantee and protect the rights of most vulnerable citizens in the Liberian society,” Madam Fahnbulleh disclosed.
