The Management of Grass Field Sand Mining Corporation wishes to inform the General Public that it is a duly registered Liberian owned corporation that has met with all of the legal requirements for sand mining in Liberia.
Due to the misconception of citizens in the various communities neighboring the Stockton Creek, on April 23, 2014, at a Management Meeting, it was decided to cease all mining activities on the Stockton Creek effective immediately, that is, starting from Thursday, April 24, 2014, Notwithstanding this decision, in the interest of the people, the leaders of the nine communities bordering the Stockton Creek were informed that a three days awareness Work Shop would be held in the Community near St. Paul River and that five persons from each of the Communities were invited to attend.
The Work Shop was successfully held from Tuesday, April 29, 2014, through Thursday, May 1, 2014. The Speakers at the Work Shop were all leading experts in the field from relevant government agencies. On the final day, the Work Shop was graced with the attendance of the Superintendent of Montserrado County.
