The Executive Members of the Concerned Students Movement of Liberia have unanimously agreed to endorse the candidacy of Madam Cecelia Cuffy Brown for the Special Senatorial Election slated for October this year.
According to an official document issued by the Students Movement and in the possession of this Paper, the Student Group noted that due to several contributions made by this Liberian (Madam Cecelia Cuffy Brown), it sees it prudent to render its supports to her, something the group believes was worth supporting.
“Madam Brown has contributed significantly toward the growth and development of our beloved country, through youth empowerment and community sanitation, as well as women and children empowerment, by at least implementing these great achievements,” the release stated.
According to the group, Madam Brown has created a platform that gives birth to the establishment of the maritime beach cleaning up campaign that made a significant impact in bringing the New Kru Town Beach and West Point Beach to their post-war status, which the group believes has created several jobs for over four hundred inhabitants of these communities and also her recent advocacy on student endowment funds from NOCAL benefits.
Meanwhile, the group believes that supporting Madam Cecelia Cuffy Brown for the Senate is worth rewarding because according to them, she has done a lot to improve the lives of thousands and hundreds of Liberians in the length and breadth of Liberia.
