Rev. Johnson Honored For Examplenary Leadership

Reverend Emmanuel F. Johnson of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion faith has been honored for his auspicious role in leading the church and its pastoral board for a decade now.

Holding a thanksgiving service in his honor recently in Monrovia at the Brown Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church on Benson Street; for his decade-long services rendered the church, Rev. Johnson was remembered for spiritual renewal programs and outstanding leadership, increase in membership and annual revenue, supportive men’s department and strong women’s homes overseas missionary department, an active young adult/youth and children ministries, as well as scholarship/community based programs and a weekly half hour radio broadcast and the reconstruction of a ne w church edifice amongst other things.

The motivational speaker at the 10th anniversary of Rev. Emmanuel F. Johnson pastoral leadership at the Brown A.M.E. Zion Church was Rev. James K. Kingsley who emphasized the need for one to live a descent and outstanding life, delivered from Nehemiah 2:2-6.one to live a descent and outstanding life, delivered from Nehemiah 2:2-6.

The ceremony was also marked by a certification process of Rev. Emmanuel F. Johnson.
