The body of an unidentified man has been discovered on 19th Street towards the beach.
According to residents of the 19th Street Community, the dead body is polluting the entire community thus posing serious health hazard. Some of the residents who spoke to this paper said the body has spent three days in the community without being identified or taken by either the family or the Government.
Residents of 19th Street said the unknown man who is believed to be in his late thirties was found dead two days ago after they saw him leaving the fence of the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital on Sunday afternoon.
Whether the man was admitted and or discharged from the hospital before leaving is yet to be established but some residents said they saw him on Sunday sitting under a plum tree (mango tree) on 19th Street but was later found dead at the same spot Monday morning.
The cause of his death has not been established as the body is now in a serious state of decomposition. Meanwhile, residents of the 19th Street Sinkor Community have expressed serious concern over the removal of the body which is posing serious health problem for them.
