An unidentified lady was over the weekend found in a pool of blood at the Logan Town Market, on the Bushrod Island.
Thousands of people, who gathered at the market yesterday, expressed dissatisfaction about the ‘hit and run’ incident involving the unidentified lady and called on the Government of Liberia to launch an immediate investigation into the death of the lady.
According to them, the unknown lady was killed by an unidentified vehicle yet to be identified. However, the Liberia National Police (LNP) is said to be making frantic effort to find the perpetrator and the unknown vehicle.
Our reporter who visited the scene said the death of the unidentified lady has created mounting fear amongst residents of Logan Town because of the mystery surrounding the untimely death of the middle-aged woman.
A resident of the Logan Town Community, Twehdee Doe, said that people have to be more cautious while crossing the road, especially during this festive season.
