Media Group To Honor Chinese Ambassador Today

The Chinese Embassy Reporters have bidden farewell to outgoing Chinese Ambassador, ZHAO JIANHUA for his numerous services rendered the Liberian people and the Government over the years.

A media group, Chinese Embassy Reporters will TODAY, December 3, 2013 honor outgoing Chinese Ambassador ZHAO JIANHUA at the Chinese Embassy in Congo Town.

According to some of the group members, their honoring of the Chinese Ambassador is in lieu of the Ambassador’s many connections that have given several Liberian youths the opportunity to empower themselves.

The group members said, education, skills training and development were Ambassador JIANHUA’s major initiatives during his tenure.

Last Tuesday, November 27, 2013 at the Official Signing Ceremony of the Chinese Ambassador’s Scholarship and the Chinese Entrepreneur Scholarship in Congo Town it was announced that the Chinese Ambassador will be leaving Liberia probably for another diplomatic assignment.

Speaking at the occasion, Chinese Ambassador ZHAO Jianhua openly expressed his satisfaction for the work his country has done through him. He boasted that as an Ambassador, his Administration has made history by being the Ambassador accredited near an African Country to form an Ambassador’s Scholarship.

The media group is comprised of several journalists, namely Edwin G. Wandah, Inquirer Newspaper; William Harmon, Daily Observer Newspaper and Varney Kamara of the New Democrat Newspaper amongst others.
