Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC) of The Gambia has arrived in the country for a two-week study tour of the operations of the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP).
The study tour is in continuation of a sisterly relationship between NASSCORP and SSHFC aimed at upgrading the capacities of staffs of both institutions.
Welcoming the delegation to Liberia during a ceremony at NASSCORP Headquarters in Sinkor on Monday, the Director-General of NASSCORP, Dewitt vonBallmoos, expressed satisfaction over the sisterly relationship between the two institutions that has subsisted for over six years.
He said this relationship is an exchange initiative intended to see how the program of one institution can impact the other.
Director-General vonBallmoos assured the delegation that all had been put into place by the corporation to make their study tour a success.
Responding on behalf of the delegation, Mrs. Inna Mbye Sarr, Assistant Finance Manager and head of delegation, expressed thanks to the NASSCORP management for allowing them to come to Liberia in order to observe the system of the corporation.
She expressed the hope that knowledge acquired during the visit will be utilized for the benefit of SSHFC.
