INQUIRER Editor Receives Honor For Great Performance…As Boss Commends Her

The Inquirer Associate Editor, Melissa Chea Annan over the weekend was honored by the Inquirer Managing Editor Philip N. Wesseh and employees of the Institution for her great performance in the United States of America.   Mr. Wesseh lauded Editor Chea Annan for a successful completion of a one year program of graduate study and professional development at the University of Maryland in College Park and other institutions in the USA.

Mr. Wesseh also expressed satisfaction for the pride she brought to the institution, when she worked with one of the leading media institutions in the State of Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia Inquirer, where she demonstrated her commitment and wrote several articles about USA and Liberian Media.

Meanwhile, Mr. Wesseh further urged the Inquirer Editor to share her experiences with her colleagues. He motivated his employees and others to make efforts in their search for higher education since the Media is advancing globally.

Mr. Wesseh called on Liberian journalists to strive for higher education so that the media in Liberia can be more vibrant and to be on par with its international counterparts.

“Let me congratulate the United States Government for the wonderful opportunity given to my Editor, Melissa Chea-Annan to study in the States,” he added.

Madam Chea-Annan applauded her boss, Mr. Philip N.Wesseh and the employees for the great honor. “We will all work together to make sure that our Institution gets to another level,” she said.
