A Liberian journalist who was recently arrested in the sisterly republic of Guinea is expected to appear in court today.
According to information emanating from Guinea, Mr. Mike Jabateh was arrested sometimes last week while covering the recent conflict in Nzolekore near the Liberian border where several churches and mosques were reportedly burnt down.
Our information disclosed that Mr. Jabateh is expected to appear in court today in that country following his incarceration for several days.
Mr. Jabateh in a text message said things are not well with him in jail in Guinea as he is facing some difficult times. Jabateh said he was sent to Guinea with the knowledge of the Liberian Government to cover the recent precarious situation in that neighboring country.
