“150 Girls To Benefit From Government”…Minister Cassell Asserts

The Minister of Gender and Development, Madam Julia Duncan Cassell said government is partnering with Ricks Institute and Bromley Mission in order to get those vulnerable girls and needy children from the streets and give them decent opportunity to acquire good education.

Minister Cassell affirmed that Bromley Mission School Authority has identified science lab for the students to help them be effective and efficient in doing their research at times. The school building was damaged during the war but right now the government is rehabilitating it.

“30 students will come from Grand Cape Mount, Gbarpolu, Bomi and Rural Montserrado Counties to attend Bromley Mission, while 150 girls will come from Nimba, Bong, Lofa and Grand Bassa Counties to attend Gbalatuah High School in Bong County.

According to Minister Cassell, additional 30 students will attend Ricks Institute and the project is expected to be completed before July 26, 2013.

Minister Cassell said government will provide basic logistics for those students to enhance learn to the best of their expectations and become future leaders.
