K-Delta convincingly defeated its bitter rivals C-Delta at the Open Air Sports Commission in a competitive basketball encounter at the dismay of hundreds of basketball fans and officials of the Liberia Basketball Association on Broad Street.
In the first 15minutes of play, the girls of K-Delta gave away what they described as testing time to their opponents C-Delta who could not show anything to their fans, leaving them and their officials despondent as two times winners of the three matches play ended in favor of K-Delta.
Match officials including referee J. Cummings were all thrilled by the magical display consolidated by the girls of K-Delta with lots of applauds coming from the hundreds of fans at the open air Sports Commission.
During the first period, K-Delta secured 14 points, second period 14 points, third period 21 points, and fourth period 17 points which amounted to 66 points, while C-Delta traded in the first period 3 points, second period 18 points, third period 3 points and fourth period 20 points amounting to 44 points.
K-Delta girls who are coached by A. Syllah and assistant coach I. Moore were led by A. Buckle, S. Tobert, F. Sherman, M. Syllah, G. Vinton, M. Kimber, R. Bangoura, A. Syllah, D. Tolbert, A. Sayon and K. Tonkeleh, while C-Delta coached by P. Eddie were also led by W. Belleh, A. Gono, E. Smith, J. Kiawu, N. Johnson, C. Barcon, J. Jallah, A. Brooks, C. Davies, J. Seibeh, Captain George and W. Baar.
